Learn more about who we are
The Ministry
A fellowship designed and led by the Spirit of God to carry out His ministry. We are all commissioned into ministry. His ministry was not and will not tickle the ears of the masses. We are not to preach a gospel of man but the gospel that only comes from the revelation of Christ through His scriptures. We must be willing to step out in faith and break tradition. Jesus, time after time broke tradition and was confronted by the Pharisees. The McMinnville Discipleship Center will not be bound by doctrines of man nor the traditions of man.
MDC will always give the Holy Ghost an opportunity to have the platform. We experience the signs wonders and miracles of the one and only Lord Jesus Christ.
If you are searching for a church that will encourage you in your growth into the fullness of Christ, this is the place.
If you are looking for a place to "Play Church", this is not for you .
MDC is not in today's standard a traditional church.
Buildig Discipleship
We pledge to be bondservants and ambassodors of Jesus Christ. We pledge to be servants. We pledge to be disciple makers to our church and community.
Jesus Christ sent out an invitation. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior we are commissioned to become fishers of man. Just like the early disciples, we all must go thru stages of development which is why we all must have a spiritual mentor and a church family to help with our maturity process.
To disciple, we must become equipped. Then we must share the gospel and share our habits.
Discipleship requires one to become a disciple first. We become intentional leaders and lead our flock. Discipleship is for "ALL" Christians. We were commissioned when we accepted the relationship with Christ. There is no fine print here as it is all pointed out in the Gospels. Read the Book of Matthew to start.
Deliverance and Healing
1/3 of Jesus’ ministry was signs, wonders and miracles. It was the same for the apostles as they left the upper room and began to build the first apostolic churches.
John 14:12-14 NKJV
12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you [a]ask anything in My name, I will do it.
The apostles did just that as you will read in the book of Acts. They were obedient. There were over 500 followers of Jesus. They were all given the instruction to go to the Upper Room and wait. Only 120 were obedient. The disobedient missed out in the blessing. They missed out in the gift that was imparted to everyone and is still being imparted today.. “The Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.” This is not to be confused with the manifesting gift of “tongues of interpretation”.
Elohia Ministries/ McMinnville Discipleship Center is modeled after the first apostolic churches, and we encourage congregants to operate in 7 gifts of the Spirit that is meant to edify the Church. Elohia Ministries/ McMinnville Discipleship Center operates in the five-fold ministry as it is intended. We have an active deliverance ministry with a well-trained ministry team that continues to work in this church and others and out in the community.
Jesus gave us this empowerment thru the baptism of the Holy Ghost to be obedient and good stewards of it at His will to set people free in Jesus Name.
The working church!
The Commission
Matthew 28:16-20 NKJV 16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Jesus discipled the original twelve. He showed them love, He lived the example! He took the time to raise these men to be men of God. This process didn’t happen overnight, it took time. Jesus was going after the long term. He was molding these men into bearing fruit. Soon the Church was born. The Disciples went out, discipled others, and the church grew. There was a awakening.
Galatians 6:6-10 NKJV
6 Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. And finally, Let us remember that Christ is head off the church and all things.
As a church body, we pledge to be disciple makers to our church and community. We will reach out to the lost. We welcome everyone from all walks of life and anyone who has made mistakes in their lives to feel the love of Christ in our fellowship just as the woman at the well did. Everyone is valuable in the eyes of Jesus. It is not up to us to condemn, but we have an obligation through what we are commissioned to do to bear fruit.
We must show love, plant seeds, live by example, take part in reaching out to the lost and disciple them into disciple makers.
We are the Body of Christ. Just like our bodies, every part has a function. All have important roles so we can function daily. WITHOUT THE HEAD, THE REST OF THE BODY IS DEAD! Christ is the head. Another important aspect to the body is that all parts are connected. They have to be in order to function effectively. The Church has to be connected, unified in one accord and working together to effectively bear fruit.
These are the signs that follow those who believe!
Mark 16:15-18 NKJV And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
